Last year around the early days of February 2019, an estimate of 13 hunting towers was destroyed in a small place northwest of Germany called Emsland. A wildlife camera, unfortunately, took a picture of the person who did it which then was released everywhere around the web while working closely together with the police institution. A year later, they were accused and found guilty of this and fined 2250 euros. In essence, there were some hunters who did not rebuild their hunting towers for a whole year which makes it impossible for them to easily hunt down deers at that location. It was a small victory after all.
